Getting Started with Cared4 Services
At Cared4, we make the intake process simple, supportive, and transparent. Whether you’re seeking services for a loved one with developmental disabilities or need in-home support for an elderly family member, we’re here to walk with you every step of the way.
Eligibility – Developmental Disability Services
Our developmental disability services are designed for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Must be a resident of Florida
- Have a documented developmental disability (as defined by Florida Medicaid/Waiver guidelines)
- Be enrolled with or eligible for the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD)
- Require assistance with daily living or support for independent living goals.
Not sure if your loved one qualifies? Contact us and we’ll help you find out.
Eligibility – Homemaker & Companion Services
Our non-medical in-home support is available to:
- Seniors or adults aged 18+ who require assistance with daily tasks
- Individuals recently discharged from the hospital or undergoing recovery
- Families seeking companionship services for a loved one living alone
- Clients who need help with light housekeeping, errands, or personal support
We currently accept private pay for all homemaker and companion services. Some long-term care insurance policies may reimburse for these services—coverage varies by plan, so we recommend checking with your provider.
Note: As a licensed Homemaker and Companion Services provider through AHCA, we are not authorized to bill Medicaid or Medicare directly.
